Sellektin hollyday funds

Mummy haz bookt a trip as a serprize for Daddy! He noes wen we ar goin but duzzent noe ware. We AWL noe. Eevn Dilly's frends noe, an they mostly noe nuthing. I keep singing dat song dat goes "Do yu noe ware yor goin to?" an den, "-no yu don't, but I do, an awl the uther Bears too!" hehe

I thort I better start to gather my stuff. Today I startid by cowntin my funds. I collekt shiny pennys, so I allways hav a kwondry wen I go away- do I brake into my collekshun to spend it? I am trying to put dem awl in order ov shinyness and tayke the most unshiny wuns.

    We don't have pennies here in Canada anymore. Sigh. I take packets of honey along, cause you never know how long it is between meals. Humans have bigger stomachs you know... little bears need to eat more frequently!

    Yes I agree. Mind yu, Mummy seems to eet constantly.
    Wen yu say no pennys, do yu meen yu hav sents? Do yu get shiny sents?
    I hope yu hav SUM shiny pennys of sum sort, or wat wud yu put in a piggy bank?

      Nope, we still have common sents but no more copper sents! They eliminated the 1 cent coin, so now we only have the 5 cent coin (nickel). I'm not sure if I can say "A penny for your thoughts" anymore cause... well... how would I pay for that! I think Mama has 33 pennies in her loose coin jar but that's it... sigh... the end of an era. I do have some British pence though!

      Did yu noe, if yor British pennys arnt shiny enuff, yu can put them in ketchup over nite an dey will ger shinier!

    We put some shiney pennies in your trezzure chest that we found on the pavement. I think there's a one pee, a two pee and a five pee in there. You could take those.

    We always take an emergency stash of honey, cookies, and hot chocolate. We also take hats, extra sweaters (if it is cold), sandals (if it is warm) so that we can do toe wiggles, and of course we bring along our seKretaries (since they can pay for our trip).
